Physical Science is a senior high school core curriculum subject in the Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) and the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strands. In the development of the book for this core subject, the curriculum guide for physical science developed by the Department of Education (DepEd0 was followed strictly.
This book is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to chemistry and the second part is dedicated to physics. It is to a large extent that the two are integrated in some parts to show the relationship and/or the connection between the two disciplines. Physics and chemistry are integrated where the applications of the two sciences are applied. It gives us a deeper understanding of how everything in this Earth started and how everything that we are enjoying now and the comfortable life that we have now are products of the great minds in physics and chemistry.
